Canon is the biggest brand in our range, and it covers almost forty years of glass. You will find gears for the manual-focus FD primes that filmmakers still adapt to mirrorless bodies, for EF lenses from the DSLR era, and for current RF zooms and primes. Because every lens family was built with its own ring, there is no single Canon size, so each gear here is matched to one specific lens.
The classic FD primes are compact. A Canon FD 50mm f/1.8 takes a gear for a 2.36–2.44 in (60–62 mm) focus ring, while the FD 50mm f/1.4 S.S.C. sits at 2.48–2.56 in (63–65 mm). Modern L zooms are much larger. The RF 24-70mm f/2.8L IS USM needs 3.19–3.27 in (81–83 mm) on the focus ring and 3.43–3.50 in (87–89 mm) on the zoom ring, and the EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II and III needs 3.43–3.50 in (87–89 mm) for focus.
All Canon gears have Mod 0.8 teeth, so they mesh with standard follow focus units and common wireless motors. Orders ship from our partner warehouse in Texas, usually arrive in 3–5 days and ship free in the US from $60. You can return a gear within 14 days.

A follow focus gear adds a toothed ring to the focus or zoom ring of your photo lens. A follow focus, wireless motor or lens servo can then turn the lens smoothly, the way you would on a cine lens.
