Find your size
Wrap a soft measuring tape around the focus ring of your lens and pull it snug. Divide the circumference by 3.14 to get the ring diameter, then pick the matching size from the table below. A caliper works too, and most lens specs list the ring diameter in millimeters, which is why we show both units.
Between two sizes? Choose the smaller one. The gear is flexible and sits tight on the ring.

Installation
Slide the gear around the ring and press it into place. You don't need to heat it or sand anything down.

The Mod 0.8 teeth mesh with standard follow focus units and with wireless systems such as the Nucleus Nano or DJI Focus.
The flexible gear is 0.28 in (7 mm) thick and 0.39 in (10 mm) high. Check our lens-specific gears if you want a fixed-size ring for your exact lens.
Cheap rubber bands overlap at the seam and can slip, so you lose the end stops of your focus throw. A properly sized gear gives a clean, even grip around the whole ring.
